Last week, and after several days of speculation, the arrival of Gary Medel to Boca Juniors was finally confirmed, where he could make his re-debut this Wednesday in his team’s duel against Admiral Brown, for the round of 32 of the Argentine Cup.
And before that commitment, Pitbull was honest and spoke about the reasons that led him to leave Vasco da Gama, his most recent club, and return to the Argentine team.
Specifically, the UC-trained player referred to the complex days he experienced in recent months in Brazil, where he played little or nothing. It was even said at the time that he had several encounters with some of his colleagues.
“They stopped me from putting me on the team from one moment to the next, they didn’t tell me anything and I got tired of that. I don’t like being on the bench, in my career I was always a starter. “I am happy to be in Boca,” the center-back vented.

And then, he issued a kind of “warning” about what he expects from that second cycle in the Xeneize box.
“I like to compete, In my career I have been lucky to always be a starter and then what motivated me the most was coming to Boca, obviously the giant club that it is. We had the first conversation and we reached an agreement almost immediately,” he added.
Finally, Medel gave a little love to the fans and swore that “Since I left the club I always followed Boca and I was in contact with people. “I am now available to play.”
