Before Ecuador’s debut against Venezuela, the president of the Ecuadorian Football Federation, Francisco Egas He spoke about what it will be like to face a new Copa América.
The main authority of the FEF spoke with the media and highlighted that they are ready for any challenge: “This is the beauty of soccer, that regardless of how much they are worth or where they play, at the end of the day one faces each other on the field and Ecuador has shown that it is capable of facing anyone. “With that conviction we are going to play and with our feet on the ground we have to dream.”
Several La Tri players have spoken of the desire to be champion and after this Egas said: “That says a lot about the mentality and that they are convinced. This Saturday, June 22, at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Ecuador and Venezuela will face each other in the match for date 1 of Group B of the Copa América.
