Well, one of those who reported to the coaching staff was Omar Albornoz who also went to speak with the directors to look for a way out since he openly said that he is tired of not being taken into account in the squad.
At the media attention upon leaving the club headquarters, Albornoz said: “We are making an arrangement to end my contract, the truth is I want to leave, I want to take a new direction,” he said at the beginning.
“I don’t want to continue because I won’t be taken into account, I won’t be given the opportunity. The player is measured if they are given opportunities, I lacked more opportunities,” he added.
Let us remember that Albornoz arrived at Junior as one of the players with the best performance in the FPC, but little by little he lost ground and was relegated to the substitute bench, especially due to his behavior off the field.
