This Thursday, June 27, 2024, the Aburrá Valley Police announced the capture of an 18-year-old young man, identified by the name of Jacob of Jesus Valenciano Yepesson of the former footballer Ivan Rene Valenciano, who would be involved in an apparent robbery that occurred in the La Mota neighborhood, in Commune 16 Belén of Medellín.

The capture of Jacobo de Jesús Valenciano Yepes was thanks to the monitoring of the security cameras that tracked the whereabouts of the former soccer player’s son and at the time of capture, the firearm was seized, plus the motorcycle with which he would have committed the theft.
Likewise, the authorities confirmed that the captured person was placed at the disposal of the Prosecutor’s Office, who will carry out the respective judicialization process.
