Italian Jannik Sinner top seed at Wimbledonassured that his dream is to reach 100%, as legends such as the Swiss Roger Federer, the Spanish Rafael Nadal and the Serbian Novak Djokovic achieved.

The transalpine spoke this Saturday at a press conference before his debut at Wimbledon on Monday against the German Yannick Hanfmann and was asked about the ‘Big Three’ and their influence.

“What I take away from this is how they have improved as players to fight against the rest. At one point, Rafa came along and Roger started to suffer. While I was trying to find a way to beat him, Novak came along. I think that is what evolves players and improves the level of each one of them. They have reached 100% in everything. That is my dream. That at some point in my career I can be at 100% of my physique, my tennis and my mentality. “That’s the most impressive thing they’ve done,” Sinner explained.

The Italian arrives at this Wimbledon with the experience of the semi-finals last year, when he was eliminated by Djokovic and, above all, after the victory in Halle a week ago.

“Here I have no doubts about my body. We have worked a lot in recent days,” said the Italian regarding the improvement since Roland Garros, where he had problems and doubts with his back. “Last week was very important and last year I made the semi-finals, so in my head I know that I can play good tennis on this surface. Of course, every year is different and the conditions in Halle were different from these.”
