New Garmin Fenix 7 update released with new bug fixes for flagship smartwatches

Garmin has delivered another beta update for the Fenix 7 (currently $519.99 on Amazon – renewed), which is also available for other smartwatches like the Enduro 2, Epix 2, and MARQ 2. For some reason, the company doesn’t recognize The 17.14 beta you posted a few days ago, in your list of changes for the 17.15 beta. Instead, it only lists the changes that Beta Version 17.15 introduces compared to “v16.22”, the most recent stable update for the Fenix 7 series and its counterparts.

At first glance, Beta 17.15 includes sixteen changes, a similar number to what Garmin claimed to have made between Beta 17.12 and Beta 17.14. Upon closer inspection, it appears that Beta 17.15 is missing nine changes that Garmin included in Beta 17.12. Additionally, many of the sixteen changelog lines debuted with Beta 17.14.

As far as we know, Beta 17.15 actually offers three improvements over its predecessor. Specifically, Garmin claims to have resolved possible crashes that could occur on the navigation page and in the suggested daily training menus. Additionally, the beta 17.15 changelog mentions a fix for “random crashes” that could appear occasionally “throughout the day.” Unfortunately, Garmin has not revealed any further details about this change. Please refer to your forum post for installation guidance.
