The minimum requirements are exactly the same as before
Something that has led Moon Studios to work tirelessly to polish certain aspects of the game, something that has resulted in a lower PC requirements table. If we look at the game’s recommended requirements in February, when they were announced, the independent team asked for a NVIDIA RTX 3070 Tiwith a price greater than 600 euros at launch, or a AMD RX 6800 XT, a GPU with a similar starting price. For its part, regarding the CPU we were asked for a i5-12600K either Ryzen 7 5800X3Dmore than 200 euros each (in the case of the AMD processor, more than 300 euros).
Now, No Rest for the Wicked has reduced both its GPU and CPU demands. The processor has seen some improvement and on the Intel side we now need a i5-11700K while in the competition we are asked for a AMD Ryzen 7 5800X. As for the graphics card, the ARPG “loses” a generation by requiring a RTX 2060 (with a launch RRP of 360 euros), while for AMD we are asked for a RX 5600 XT (just over 300 euros on departure).
While the original components were not excessively expensive, at least by current NVIDIA standard, Moon Studios established these original requirements to play 1080p and 60 FPS. With a system like this we are talking about a PC capable of facing heavyweights on the market with relative ease. One of them, for example, Horizon Forbidden West, with similar requirements to play at 1440p and 60 FPS; even the imminent Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, which with a PC like this would fall into 1080p territory on High.
