The Galaxy A53, A54 and S21 FE are next

The popular leaker CID has shared a post on X in which he confirms that Samsung will launch the update to One UI 6.1 on the Galaxy A53, Galaxy A54 and Galaxy S21 FE in Canada on May 14

Samsung has started this month of May updating your old terminals with the new version of your customization layer for Android, One UI 6.1which includes Galaxy AI, the set of AI features that debuted on the Galaxy S24. Good proof of this is that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Fold 3, Z Flip 4, Z Flip 3, Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 have already begun to receive this update, although in the case of the latter it has had to stop the deployment of One UI 6.1 due to critical problems booting devices after installing this new version.

Samsung continues to release the update to One UI 6.1 on more smartphones in its catalog and, in this sense, a recent leak has just confirmed that The Galaxy A53, Galaxy A54 and Galaxy S21 FE will be the next to receive the latest version of One UI.

Canada’s Samsung Galaxy A53, Galaxy A54 and Galaxy S21 FE will receive their dose of One UI 6.1 within a week

The well-known leaker CID (@theonecid in X) has recently published a post on the well-known social network in which he reveals that Samsung is going to launch the update to One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI on the Galaxy A53, Galaxy A54 and Galaxy S21 FE in Canada on May 14.

In this regard, it is expected that this update will also roll out to models in other markets sooner rather than later and considering that these updates usually arrive in Europe and Asia before Canada, it is likely that One UI 6.1 reaches the Galaxy A53, Galaxy A54 and Galaxy S21 FE in Spain later this week.

Although this update to One UI 6.1 includes the new AI functions of Galaxy AI, it is most likely that these three phones, as has happened with the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3, just receive one of them. We are referring to Circle to Search, a functionality developed jointly with Google that allows you search for information about an element that appears on your smartphone screen simply by surrounding it with a circle.

But that’s not all, since, in addition to Circle to Search, One UI 6.1 also brings other interesting new features to these three old terminals such as a new pack of custom stickers, new widgets for the lock screen, an improved search in the Gallery appa renewed video player that allows you to change the playback speed more easily, new frames and effects for wallpapers and the option of customize alarm alerts and calendar entries with new stickers and reminder category icons.
