Lenovo has introduced the ThinkPlus 65W GaN charger in China. It’s pocket-sized, measuring 31x39x63mm, and the company says it’s about the size of a lipstick. Although it has a compact form factor, the charging brick can power three devices simultaneously. It comes with three ports, one of them type A and the others type C.

The two USB Type-C ports on this GaN charging brick can supply up to 65 watts of power when used respectively, while the Type-A port maxes out at 22.5 watts. When you use three of them at the same time, you will get a combined 40 watts of power from the Type-C ports, while the Type-A will offer 20 watts.

To offer safe and worry-free charging, Lenovo has integrated eight layers of safety features into the new ThinkPlus 65W GaN charger. That includes protection against overcurrent, overvoltage, short circuit, extreme temperature and overpower.

As for compatibility, Lenovo’s new ThinkPlus charger supports multiple protocols. These include PPS, QC3 and PD3. This means you can use the charging brick to power virtually anything, including laptops like the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 and the M1 and M2 MacBook Airs.

As far as price is concerned, Lenovo launched the ThinkPlus 65W GaN charger in China at CNY 99, which is about $14. The company hasn’t shared details about the global launch and pricing yet, but if you’re looking for something similar, check out the Anker 735 Nano II (currently $39.99 on Amazon).
