According to the Argentine newspaper La Nación, WhatsApp Plus is distinguished from the original version of WhatsApp, owned by Goalfor offering a wider range of customization options and features that are not present in the official application.

- Bomb messages and images: This peculiar function allows you to send messages or images that disappear after being viewed, adding a level of privacy to ephemeral communications.
- Interface customization: Beyond basic settings, WhatsApp Plus allows detailed customization of the interface, including adapting colors and font size according to user preferences.
- Connection hours consultation: a useful tool to check the last connection hours of contacts and their status, directly from the chat screen, without having to enter each one’s profile.
As it is not the original version, its use may bring some risks for users.

How to install WhatsApp Plus?
According to the Depor.com portal, to install WhatsApp Plus 2024 v17.85 (the May version) on your device, you must follow the following steps – remember that there are risks associated with the use of unofficial versions of applications -:
- Back up your WhatsApp conversations to protect your important information. Open the official WhatsApp app, go to Settings > Chats > Chat Backup, and back up to Google Drive (on Android) or iCloud (on iPhone).
- Uninstall the official version of WhatsApp from your device to avoid inconveniences. To do this, long press the WhatsApp icon and select the uninstall option or go to Settings > Applications > WhatsApp and select “Uninstall”.
- Download WhatsApp Plus v17.85 APK from the pages that offer the application.
- Activate the option to install applications from unknown sources on your device. Go to Settings > Security (or Privacy) > and turn on “Unknown Sources” or “Install Unknown Apps.”
- Follow the steps to complete the APK installation.
- Enter your phone number and configure your profile according to your preferences.
