Nvidia is going to launch a new model of the Radeon Pro W7900 “Dual Slot”, but this time with a dual-slot design and cooling that consists of a blower-type fan that is optimized for computers with multiple of these GPUs. In this way, it is a thinner model than the one launched in 2023, which had a thickness of three slots.

Performance vs RTX 6000 ADA
AMD claims that this GPU offers 52% more performance per dollar than Nvidia’s RTX 6000 ADA. In addition, it would offer 38% higher performance per dollar than RTX 6000 ADA in AI. To do this, they have shared a slide where they make a comparison on Llama3 70B-Q4 (ROCm 6.0 + vLLM). There are also other comparisons with PCMark 10, SPECapc and Davinci Resolve.
It is clear that AMD is fully confident in the price/performance aspect with this graphics card, which is officially priced at $3,499a competitive price compared to RTX 6000 ADA and even the RTX 5000. This price is even lower than that of the W7900 original.
