New AMD CPUs for desktop PCs
The Ryzen 9000 series is the first to use the new architecture of AMD Zen 5 cores. With the code name Granite Ridge there will be four SKUs to start. A Ryzen 9 9950X 16 cores, a Ryzen 9 9900X 12-core, a Ryzen 7 9700X 8-core and a Ryzen 5 9600X 6-core. The TDPs range from 65 W for the Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7, to 120 and 170 W respectively for the two high-end Ryzen 9s.

New AMD CPUs for notebooks
For these devices, AMD is doubling down on AI with its new brand Ryzen AI.
