macOS 15 Sequoia is official with continuity and mirroring improvements with our iPhone

The new version of macOS has been announced, and it is called macOS 15 Sequoia

macOS 15 Sequoia, highlights and functions

One of the most notable functions is iPhone Mirroring. This feature will allow us to see and control your iPhone from the Mac. Our iPhone can be mirrored on our Mac, showing everything. From icons to the home screen, applications and much more.

Any app can be opened directly from the Mac, and even your iPhone’s audio is streamed to the Mac. Meanwhile, your iPhone can remain locked, so no one else can access it.

macOS 15 also brings iPhone notifications to the Mac, where they appear next to those on the Mac. In addition, macOS now automatically resizes windows to fill the entire screen, making the most of the available space. macOS 15 also includes a new app dedicated to Passwords, which allows you to manage Wi-Fi passwords, app and website passwords, verification codes, and much more.

Apple has also updated Safari with new features, including highlights, which use machine learning to detect interesting things on the page. There are also additions to Reading mode, such as summaries and tables of contents, presumably also generated with machine learning. Viewer mode has also been improved for on-page video content.

The first developer beta of macOS 15 is available starting today, followed by a public beta at a later date and the official public release in the spring.
