While finalizing the details for the celebration of the second Galaxy Unpacked of the yearan event in which the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6, the Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch7 Ultra and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will be officially presented, Samsung continues working on the launch of its new range of premium flagships, the Galaxy S25 of which we already know that they will debut Google’s new AI model.

Well, now a new leak has just revealed that The new Samsung Galaxy S25 could only use Snapdragon processorsthus leaving aside the Exynos manufactured by Samsung Electronics itself.

The three models of the new Galaxy S25 family would have Qualcomm chipsets

As SamMobile tells us, recently, the popular leaker Ming-Chi Kuo published a post on Qualcomm to be the sole chipset supplier for the new Galaxy S25 series.

According to this analyst, the reason for this decision would be that the performance of the new Exynos 2500 manufactured in 3 nanometers would be below the brand’s expectations for their new flagships.

“Qualcomm is likely to be the sole SoC supplier for the Samsung Galaxy S25 (vs. 40% for the S24), as the Exynos 2500 may not ship due to Samsung’s lower-than-expected 3nm performance.”

Likewise, Kuo states that the price of the future Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 could increase by 25 to 30% compared to the previous generationsomething that would translate into an increase in the cost of the new Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra.

It must be remembered that Qualcomm supplied 40% of the Galaxy S24 processorssince the Galaxy S24 Ultra mount the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in all markets, but the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ are equipped with the Exynos 2400 in all regions of the world except the US, Canada, China and Japan.
