Motorola is preparing to launch its new version of the Razr 50 Ultra on June 25, with significant camera improvements, improved water resistance, and artificial intelligence technology. These developments promise to elevate the user experience on foldable devices.

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will be presented this June 25

The filtration arrives from X, there the insider Lupine has found a video of the team. Thus, the next Motorola Razr 50 Ultra would not only introduce a telephoto camera, but would also improve its water resistance. According to the leaked video, this model would stand out for its improved protection against water, classifying it with a IPX8 resistance.

Unlike the previous model that only offered splash protection (IP52), the new Razr 50 Ultra will surely be designed to withstand complete immersion. Although dust resistance remains an unknown, the new certification will put it on par with Samsung foldables in terms of protection against water.

As for camera innovations, the Razr 50 Ultra would incorporate a telephoto zoom, a rare feature in foldable phones. This addition would be notable, considering that the previous model featured a standard and ultra-wide camera setup. The focus on the telephoto lens could mean a change in camera setup, although it is yet to be confirmed whether this will affect other features such as the ultra-wide camera.

The leaked video also highlights the integration of “Moto AI”, an artificial intelligence system that powers the camera and other functionalities of the device. Motorola has previously implemented AI features in international launches, and the Razr 50 Ultra will surely be no different.
