PS5 had a great launch with Stellar Blade last April, receiving a great reception and opening the door to what could be the next great franchise within the console. The studio behind the game has just released an immense amount of information, advancing plans that will from more DLC to mention of its sequel and crossovers with other franchises.
Shift Up mentioned all of this in a recent press conference (via Insider Gaming)starting with the clarification on the port of Stellar Blade for PC. Despite being within the plans, the study unfortunately cannot give details regarding this for confidentiality reasons.
Stellar Blade and NieR in the same game?
Going headlong with surprises, Shift Up CEO Kim Hyung-Tae announced many interesting plans that already seem more than solid in the future of Stellar Blade. One of the most interesting is, for now, the mention of “collaborations with other IPs”that is to say, crossovers. The most practical idea would be Stellar Blade x NieRthis is because both directors have met in the past and share a very similar vision.
