Samsung Chile, today announced the inauguration of the new mobile product repair service in its store at the Costanera Center mall, designed to offer quick and effective solutions within the same day or the next day for possible failures in products such as smartphones, tablets and wearables.

The new repair service allows, in some cases, free repairs to be carried out. If the equipment is under warranty or if it is support for information transfer or software update, it is possible to access the benefit at no cost.

Ederson Silva, consumer service manager at Samsung Chile, explains that the service is divided according to the state or need for repair of the equipment, this is how there are cases in which the equipment only requires a software update, transfer of information or configuration , which delivers a solution in just hours and for free, to repair services such as replacement of parts, screen, battery, among other requirements that go through an evaluation process.”

The conditions indicate that, if the product is under warranty, the repair is free of charge and the objective is to complete the process on the same day, subject to the availability of spare parts. If the product is out of warranty, the initial evaluation costs $15,000.

“In just half an hour, we deliver a quote to the customer, who in the meantime can tour the store and explore different products from the Samsung ecosystem,” says the executive, adding that repair values ​​vary depending on the nature of the failure.

Regarding repair times, if the equipment is delivered before 12:00 hrs, the equipment can be delivered the same day, depending on the condition of the device. And if the equipment enters after 12:00 PM, delivery will be made the next day.

The opening hours for this service are Monday to Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Samsung store at the Costanera Center mall, located on floor -1.
