In a recent interview with the media Android Authority, Chris Patrick, senior vice president and general director of phones at Qualcomm, assured that his company has been developing a series of improvements for some time that will make it easier for OEMs to install Android updates.

In this regard, Patrick explained that they have been working with Google and other Android terminal manufacturers for some time now. improve the system they use to perform operating system and security updates.

“One of the things we’ve been working on for the last few years with Google and with OEMs is changing the structure of the online code, that is, changing the machinery we use to make those updates.”

Likewise, the Qualcomm manager also announced that These changes in Android updates will arrive this year:
