Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir shared a heartfelt interaction before KKR and RCB’s Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 match on Sunday, April 21 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The duo has been involved in some heated exchanges on the field. But lately, Gambhir and Kohli have been friendly towards each other.
During Kolkata’s match against Bengaluru at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Kohli and Gambhir share a hug. The official social media handle of the Knight Riders uploaded the latest video of Kohli and Gambhir. KKR captioned the video and wrote, “Jhappi laga liya. “Masala khatam, Things we love to see on a cricket field.”

Struggling RCB face KKR in City of Joy
RCB, led by Faf du Plessis, are currently languishing at the bottom of the table with 2 points and a net run rate of -1.185. With 1 win from 7 games, RCB have looked completely out of sorts, especially in their bowling department. Virat Kohli is currently the Orange Cap holder with a hundred to his name, but he hasn’t got enough support from the others.
KKR, on the other hand, would be ruling the fact that they failed to get past the finish line against the Rajasthan Royals (RR). Sunil Narine scored a 49-ball hundred, but Jos Buttler’s 55-ball century overshadowed it. As far as Gambhir is concerned, he has carried the Knight Riders after returning to the franchise as a mentor.
