On Saturday, April 27, the celebration of Children’s Day will take place throughout the country, and Bogotá could not be left without being part of this day, which has acquired equal importance to other dates as special in the country as they are. Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or Love and Friendship.
During this time, The District Institute of the Arts (Idartes) has organized more than 150 activities in various neighborhoods and locations of the citywith the purpose of celebrating and paying tribute to Colombian boys and girls.

Among the initiatives developed by Idartes are the Nidos, Crea y Culturas en Común programs, which offer a variety of artistic experiences, presentations, exhibitions and have established alliances with different entities to promote children’s access to cultural rights and emphasize the importance of its integral development.
The institution will also be part of the 2024 International Book Fair, offering activities in the Reading Room for Early Childhood and launching three publications aimed at this segment of the population.

Idartes will have several spaces in the Simón Bolívar park, where you can enjoy scenic works, musical works and artistic experiences to bring art and culture closer to early childhood. Idartes will celebrate World Circus Day among the activities available for children in Bogotá, for this it will have a day dedicated to magic and amazement.
