Kanpur: Three people, including an elderly patient and a woman died while two others were injured, after a car they were traveling in collided with a dumper in Bidhnu area of ​​the district, on Saturday evening.According to the police, the occupants of the car, residents of Fatehpur were heading to a Kanpur hospital with an elderly patient, when the accident took place. With the help of local people, the police pulled out the injured by cutting the doors of the car and took them to Community Health Center Bidhnu , where the doctor declared three people including the elderly patient Habib (85), his daughter-in-law Husnara (45) and their tenant Pankaj (35), who was driving the car, dead. Elderly patient’s son Hasif (55) and latter’s son Aman (18) were referred to LLR Hospital.Police station in-charge Prem Chandra Kanojia said that the driver is being searched after taking possession of the dumper. “The condition of two people remains critical at LLR hospital. The family members were taking the sick elderly, a resident of Fatehpur’s Jahanabad in a car to Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital in Kanpur for treatment, when the accident took place,” he said.
