He deserves to be at NASA! Salteo invented mango wine: full of twine

Alberto Eduardo Sachettinative of Ornhas captivated the province with its innovative artisanal wine venture, “Yungas of Orn”. Its catalogue, which includes strawberry, passion fruit, avocado and distinctive mango wines, has generated great interest both locally and internationally.

The production process of these wines is completely artisanal, based on the pure fermentation of the fruit. For the mango wine, Sachetti explains that first the fruit is washed, then a fermentation process is carried out that lasts between 8 and 10 days in hot weather. Subsequently, the wine is left to rest for approximately three months to intensify its flavor.

“It’s all very artisanal. Luckily, very few elements are needed,” says Sachetti about his production process.

Despite starting out modestly, demand for their wines has grown rapidly. It currently has around 60 liters in stock and has already made significant sales. In addition, he has received invitations to participate in various local events and has aroused the interest of people from other provinces, such as Santa Cruz, Buenos Aires and Chubut.
