The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) informed the payment calendar complete from May 2024 to retirees, pensions, Universal Child Allowance (AUH) and unemployment benefitsamong others.
This month, retirees and pensioners will collect their salaries and will receive a $70,000 bonusin addition to the increase anticipated by the new calculation formula based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
Who collects the new ANSES bonus in May 2024?
The reissue of the “pensionary financial aid” will impact the assets of the following groups:
- Holders of contributory pension benefits;
- Beneficiaries of the Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM),
- Beneficiaries of Non-Contributory Pensions (PNC) for Old Age, Disability, mothers of seven children or more and other PNC and ex-gratia pensions whose payment is the responsibility of the ANSES.
How much is the increase for retirees and pensioners in May 2024?
Through Decree 274/24, starting in July the new mobility formula that establishes a monthly update which is based on the inflation data from two months ago.
“Until this new formula comes into effect, retirements and pensions will have monthly increases on account of June mobility,” ANSES clarified through a statement.
For the increase in May, the data from March was taken, which was 11%, and for June, the data from April, which will be known in the coming days.
