Woman fights off potential armed rapist at home despite taking hammer blow to head

By Jose Luis Cruz: Breaking Belize News (BBN) has confirmed that more than one person was shot a short while ago in Roaring Creek village and that at least one person has died from the injuries received.
The shooting incident occurred near the Heart of Christ Ministry on a day that Belizeans expect peace and quiet rather than shooting and murder.
Police have responded to the reports and details of the incident are still coming in. Early reports are that a minor was also shot and that the ambulance has transported the victims to the Western Regional Hospital in Belmopan.
