The Ponferrada Energy Museum programs workshops and an escape room

This week’s cultural programming at La Fábrica de Luz. During this weekend, the Ponferrada Energy Museum will offer a wide variety of activities for all audiences, which will begin on Saturday, the 11th, at 12 noon, with the ‘Pequemuseo’, that will offer experiences and science for the little ones.

The activity is aimed at family audiences, for participants from one to three years old accompanied by an adult, and has a price of four euros per adult, with each one being able to accompany two participants.

In addition, on Sunday, the 12th, from 11 a.m. to 2:40 p.m., the Museum will host a new escape room session in the turbine hall. Organized by Bierzo Natura, the experience aims to test the participants’ ingenuity and ability to solve puzzles using clues.

This activity will take place in 40-minute shifts and groups of six members over eight years old will be formed to participate. The price is ten euros per person and registration will be done directly with Bierzo Natura through Bizum, by transfer or at their offices.

Also on Sunday, but at 12 noon, the workshop ‘The inhabited box’ related to the exhibition ‘SEDA [ciencia y arte en movimiento]’. In this activity, free and aimed at family audiences, attendees will be able to develop a creative idea around silk cocoons using the different supports and possibilities provided to bring the imagination to life.

Also linked to this project, a new session of the meditation and creativity workshops taught by Reme Remedios will be held tomorrow, from 7 to 9 p.m., in which guided meditations will be carried out and plastic arts techniques such as drawing or painting.

Dinamiz-ARTj

The cultural programming of Dinamiz-ARTj will also arrive this weekend at La Térmica Cultural de Ponferrada, where on Friday the 10th at 7:30 p.m. the performance ‘Manuel and María’ by Manuel Ferrero López del Moral will take place, a show through the stories, poetry and puppets where you can laugh, get excited, think and understand reality.

On Saturday at 7:30 p.m. it will be the turn of ‘The Window Altarpiece’ with its proposal on the classic tale by the Brothers Grimm ‘The Brave Little Tailor’. Finally, on Sunday at 12 noon Moskis will give the public ‘Locuras de un loco basjito’, a comedy play in the form of a monologue.
