BARCELONA, May 8. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The cruise company Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has decided that the Port of Barcelona will be the seasonal base of the Norwegian Escape ship for the 2024 summer season, it reported in a statement this Wednesday.
He is expected to travel regularly on eight- to ten-day round-trip voyages around the Western Mediterranean, calling at one port each day, beginning on May 26, when he will return from an eleven-day voyage through Italy, France and the Greek Islands that will end in Venice (Italy).
Norwegian Escape can accommodate more than 4,200 guests at double occupancy and is the “only Brealaway-Plus class ship in European waters this summer” – offering 19 different dining options and multiple entertainment options.
The representative of the company Sonia López has assured that “it marks a most exciting new chapter”, after sending the ship that performed in Barcelona – the Norwegian Epic – to Rome.
“For more than a decade, Norwegian Epic has been the most desired option for our Spanish guests sailing on Western Mediterranean voyages from Barcelona,” he recalled.
