One year after the fourth natural gas regulatory plant was built in the Circunvalación and Ruta 7 collectors and the operation of the plant located in Circunvalación and Posadas was optimized, by decision of Mayor Pablo Petrecca, a year later, more than 600 families could connect and have this service, there are around 100 consortium projects executed or in progress and 250 projects presented.
Currently, the works to extend the home natural gas network, through consortia made up of neighbors, are advancing in neighborhoods such as: Real, Moya and Jardín; San Ignacio; Cerrito Colorado; The Rufinite Los Almendros and all those found in the southwest area of the city.
Precisely on May 6, 2023, Mayor Pablo Petrecca, when he launched the new plant, expressed: «This work marks a before and after in the quality of life of all the neighbors, because as you well know we are standing here today. in the VI natural gas regulatory plant, but expansion works were also carried out in the third, which improves the entire system.”
“Without a doubt, this will improve the quality of life of 10,000 potential families, who, thanks to this work, will be able to connect to the natural gas service,” the mayor of Junín had also highlighted at that time.
For Petrecca, the creation of this new plant “speaks about what we Juninenses are capable of doing, but above all, this work speaks to us about the past, it speaks to us about the present, but even more so and fundamentally about the future, a future.” of growth, a future of development, a future of prosperity, we always talk about making a Junín of opportunities, and here we are, showing one more concrete fact of opportunities,”
In that sense, the Communal Chief recalled that when he began his administration, in 2015, “it was not possible in the city to connect a single heater legally and today we are talking about 10,000, we went from zero to more than 10,000 connections, we proposed to make changes profound, and this is one more example, it is a concrete fact of the profound change that we are carrying out in Junín, together with the neighbors, listening, planning, being sincere and managing with seriousness and responsibility the resources that belong to everyone.”
It is worth remembering that, in recent days, Mayor Petrecca participated in the annual meeting of the board of directors of the company Grupo Servicios Junín, whose main shareholder is the Municipality and highlighted: «Today the company provides several fundamental services after a sanitation process that had to be do, after encountering a bankruptcy situation for the firm, so there was a strong investment to make it grow again.”
“As a Municipality we also made a large investment to complete the fourth gas regulatory plant, a more than important work and through which 600 new users have already been connected and this has to do with an improvement in the quality of life of the neighbors, “They know that they can count on natural gas service, which means significant financial savings for their pockets compared to cylinders and also from a safety point of view.”
Finally, the mayor assured that “when one makes decisions that fully impact and improve the quality of life of the neighbors, it is very satisfactory, in this case, with another concrete and tangible fact, with many families with a first and last name who today can access this service, thanks to the fact that Grupo Junín is managed transparently and the resources of the people of Junín return with this type of works.”
