This Wednesday the Central reserve fell with its counterpart from Vélez by 2 to 0 at the Arroyo Seco Premises for the eleventh date of the Projection Cup. The goals were scored by Escobar and Carrizo, both in the first stage.
Zero didn’t move. Midway through the first stage, neither team was able to create dangerous situations. The match was even.
The visit was put to the advantage. In 36 minutes, Bautista Ramírez took a cross that was practically a pass to the head of Ian Escobar for the forward to put Fortín 1-0 up.
The tie was lost. With three minutes remaining in the first stage, Burgos bravely climbed up, finished and the rebound fell to Fabricio Oviedo who finished and the ball went over the crossbar.
Goal from Vélez. In the last minute of the first half, Escobar enabled Carrizo, he settled in and took a beautiful left-footed shot to put it away from Cuevas’ possibilities.
Central had it. At 11 minutes into the second half, Moscoloni appeared by surprise from the left and finished off Ramil’s right post. El Canalla missed the discount.
