As Javi says: “in the video of Steve Jobs you can see how someone from the audience rebukes him, criticizes him, and tells him that he is miserable… and then Steve Jobs sits down and remains silent.”
In the video, Miralles perfectly explains what happens in that Jobs anecdote: “He sits in silence for several minutes, thinking… and when he has it clear, he gets up and ‘destroys’ it. Argument, argument, argument…” According to the public speaking expert, this is considered one of the best responses in history precisely because of the prolonged silence it takes before performing it.
