MEXICO CITY (process.con.mx).- Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, presidential candidate of Morena-PT-PVEM, cast her vote and revealed that for the Presidency of the Republic she did it for the teacher Ifigenia Martinez, “and the rest, Well, you know.”
Shortly after an hour of standing in line at the booth located in the San Andrés Totoltepec neighborhood, in the Tlalpan mayor’s office, and agreeing to take photos with her neighbors who requested it, the brunette took the microphone and said:
“Very quickly because there is a long line to vote. I just want to tell you that for the Presidency I voted for Ifigenia Martínez and everything else, well you already know how we vote. Long live democracy!”
Proceso asked her the reason for voting for politics, an economist, one of the founders of the PRD and current senator of the Republic for Morena, to which she replied:
“Well, she is an extraordinary woman who defended her school when the army entered the University City in ’68 and since ’88 it has been consistent.”
Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo arrived at 8:56 a.m. this Sunday at box section 3960 installed in the San Andrés Totoltepec neighborhood, Tlalpan mayor’s office. She was accompanied by her husband Jesús María Tarriba.
