Angostura, Sin. – Alberto Rivera Camacho, better known as “El Capy” candidate of the PRI, PAN, PRD and PAS maintains a slight advantage in the election for mayor in the municipality of Angostura.

With 73.9 percent of the minutes computed in the Preliminary Electoral Results Program (PREP), “El Capy” has 9,655 votes in his favor, while Miguel Ángel Angulo Acosta of Morena and the Green Ecologist Party of Mexico, who is seeking reelection, has 8,808 votes.
So far, 3,826 minutes have been registered out of the 5,176 that are in total and where a citizen participation of 54.4 percent has been recorded so far
Alberto Rivera Camacho registers 44.6 percent of the votes, while the licensed mayor registers 40.7 percent. Other candidates such as Ismael Angulo Meza have 1,762 votes, Israel Castro of the PES has 363 votes in his count and José Luis Higuera Apodaca of the PT has 175 votes.

If this trend continues, it would be the second time that a mayor fails in his intention to be re-elected, Well, previously, Aglaee Montoya Martinez, who lost against Miguel Ángel Angulo Acosta, fell by the wayside.
The record of minutes persists in the Municipal Electoral Council of Angostura and It is expected that during this Monday a more definitive result can be obtained, taking into account that the margin between first and second place is not much difference.
Until Sunday night the candidates in this municipality had not issued any position on progress in results.
