Norris has been married to Gena O’Kelley since 1998. and every so often he takes the opportunity to remind her of the great love he feels for her on his social networks. However, the relationship between the two took a turn for the worse when O’Kelley received the diagnosis in 2013 that she suffered rheumatoid arthritis. She had three MRIs performed to determine whether she was suffering from this disease, and after that she began to feel worse and worse. His condition was getting worse and Norris always remained by his side.. After undergoing multiple studies, it was concluded in 2017 that she suffered from gadolinium poisoning, a substance used to perform the aforementioned MRIs.
It then began a treatment to remove that substance from your body, but by then she was not even able to swallow and had to be fed very carefully through the esophagus. Norris had already completely retired by then and was at all times by O’Kelley’s side, who didn’t even have enough energy to get out of the house. My whole life is focused on taking care of her the best I can. I have given up my film career.
Little by little, O’Kelley improved, and Norris filed a lawsuit in 2017 against the company Bracco Imaging for the poisoning of his wife. The thing came to nothing, since the protagonist of ‘Delta Force’ withdrew the lawsuit in 2020. Coincidence or not, the actor resumed his activity then, participating in an episode of ‘Hawaii 5.0’ and being seen in another of the sports show ‘TNA iMPACT! Wrestling’. He made it clear in 2023 that he was willing to come out of retirement from the cinema and ‘Agent Recon’ will surely not end up being a one-off thing…
