María Becerra is in one of the highlights of her career, after releasing her hit single “Imán” and embarking on an international tour. Now, the artist takes another step in joining the cast of “Despicable Me 4” by voicing her in the role of Poppy Prescott, a new character.

The Argentine singer expressed her excitement at being part of this project through her social networks, where she shared a preview of her performance in the Latin dubbing of Poppy. This role in “Despicable Me 4” adds to the international achievements of María, who last year was the lead voice of the main song of “Fast and Furious X” and performed at the River Plate stadium, becoming the first Argentine woman to achieve it.

Directed by Chris Renaud and with a script by Mike White and Ken Daurio, “Despicable Me 4” promises to be an exciting installment that follows the adventures of the antihero Gru and his family. In addition to María Becerra, the cast includes renowned actors such as Will Ferrell, Sofia Vergara, and Stephen Colbert, among others. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 20.
