The Share Festival Negrita returns this weekend to the Parc del Fòrum, the second edition to be held at this venue, with a lineup of the best pop and Latin urban music. Here is a sample of names that constantly appear on the charts and that will be present at the Barcelona event: the Puerto Rican rapper Myke Towers, his compatriot and skilled reggaeton player Jhayco (formerly Jhay Cortez), and two of the greatest phenomena to come out of ‘Operación Triunfo’, the Catalan Aitana (two concerts at the Santiago Bernabéu on the way) and Granada Lola Indigo (a Bernabéu in March 2025). “A selection of the best of the artists currently touring,” defines Stefano Maccaronedirector of a festival that will also feature, among others, the rappers and brothers Ayax and Prok or Maka, a singer who does not need to make a lot of noise to quickly fill the Palau Sant Jordi, as he did last October.

Well, Share, which with all these names seeks to attract young audiences, brings together those mentioned and many more thanks to the fact that This year it grows again: it incorporates a second stage and a third day to its programming, Sunday, which is added to the Friday and Saturday days. “Many new brands have entered the festival, and those that were there have seen that the event grows and they grow with us. We have been growing organically, now we are taking another small step,” says Maccarone about the ascending muscle of Share. One of the brands, by the way, is the Barçawhich will be present on the staff’s t-shirts and will organize football activities at the Forum.

Coherent poster for days

If last year they gathered 17,000 people per day (with stars like Dellafuente, Morad or Bizarrap), in this edition they hope to reach 20,000 -maximum capacity of the festival- on each of the days, with the unknown of Sunday, the day for which there are the most tickets on sale. Although the festival offers the possibility of purchasing a full ticket, Maccarone says that they have found a formula that works for them when it comes to selling individual tickets: Schedule coherent posters for days. A Latin accent party to open on Friday; a Saturday focused on the Spanish urban scene; and a feminine pop closing on Sunday.

“What makes us feel really proud is that, of the big festivals, we are the ones with a lineup with the most women, the majority, 60%. And that is still not easy because there is still much more offer of male artists. My dream is to be able to make a poster with only women“, explains the director. For the moment they have managed to make a 100% feminine day with a marked pop accent. The Catalans lead on Sunday Aitana, Julieta, Lia Kali, Belén Aguilera, Chanel, Vicco… Eleven women in total, among them the Aragonese Naiarawinner of the last edition of ‘Operación Triunfo’.

Like last year, Share occupies the Fòrum on the second weekend of June, a date on the calendar that the organizers would like to delay until the end of the month in the future to facilitate the presence of more international artists at the festival, and It will open its doors every day at 2 p.m. and will last until 11 p.m. “Our idea is to have a sustainable festival, not to bother anyone, that’s why we end at 11 p.m.,” says Maccarone. “The main problem with ending at 11 p.m. is that on these dates in Barcelona there is light until almost 10 p.m. We can only have one headliner per day because of what their shows are like, the lights… The ideal would be to finish at 1, but we perfectly understand the demands, the neighbors, and we are willing to adapt,” adds the director. of Share, which has also had a marked solidarity and inclusive accent since its foundation, among other initiatives, this year the association is repeating itself at the festival. Delightedwho will interpret Aitana’s concert in sign language to make it accessible to deaf people.
