A spectacular traffic accident occurred in the early hours of this Thursday in the Capital City of San Juan that involved two vehicles. According to what the UFI Special Crimes reported, the incident took place at 6:45 a.m. today at the intersection of Tucumán Street and Lateral Norte de Circunvalación, in Concepción.
Mario Villavicencio, 64, was traveling in the Fiat Palio Adventure car on Tucumán Street – from South to North – and when he reached the north side, he was hit by the Nissan Frontier truck that was driven by Pierard Aurelien, 35, of French nationality, who was driving along the side of the Beltway – from east to west – and ignored the stop sign that is located before Tucumán. Accompanying the van were Wermisham Robert, Anne de Molina Humbert and Gastón Rodriguez. all belonging to a support team for the Desafío Ruta 40 adventure race.
All those involved in the accident had no visible injuries. Despite this, all the required actions were carried out, they indicated.
