A young student at the Faculty of Psychology National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) denounced that the ‘La Cava’ cafeteria located in Copilco, a few meters from the highest educational institution, introduced veterinary ketamine in your drink. In this regard, the capital authorities closed the establishment.

The victim would have made the complaint via social networks to alert other young women of be careful when being near the establishment. “On Friday of last week, I decided to buy a frape in Copilco, in the cafeteria called “La Cova”, which is located in front of the medicine street, where the puma route 5 passes, I had time shopping there but that day, the frape was sold to me cheaper by the guy who serves there and he insisted that I would stay in the store to drink it, I didn’t accept because I was in a hurry, but even He asked me about my schedule and similar things. I didn’t respond but he kept insisting that I stay,” the student said.

Likewise, he explained that he began to have dizziness symptoms after having consumed the drink:

“Afterwards, when I was leaving in the puma while drinking the drink, I started to get dizzy, I heard “fuzzy” and when I got to the facpsi I lost the strength in my hands, everything was falling and I was spinning… The frape fell silent but I still That’s how I kept taking it because I thought it was a panic attack. There I fainted for 10 subway stations, reaching almost to the base, when I came back I couldn’t get up because I had no strength in my legs, I had a lot of vomiting and a migraine making it impossible to move to ask for help. In the end they came for me and took me to a clinic, the end result was that I had been put on the ketamine drink for veterinary use and to this day I still have consequences from the dose.”

AUTHORITIES CLOSED THE PLACE

After the UNAM authorities learned of what happened to a member of their community, they released a statement in which they reported that, through the Health Protection Agency of the Government of Mexico Citythe suspension of business activities was achieved and said that the corresponding legal actions will be taken.
