Real Cartagena won 1-0 against Tigres FC in Bogotá. and arrives alive to the last date of the home runs. Real Cartagena formed with: Christian Arroyave in goal, Cristian Florez, Darwin Palomeque, Mateo Castillo and Juan Camilo Ángulo made up the defensive backline. Yosimarc Torres, Christian Marrugo, Leyder Robledo and Jhon Valencia were present in the midfield. Teófilo Gutiérrez and Yhonier López were in charge of creating danger in the area for the young team from Bogotá.
Real Cartagena sought with impetus to beat the goal of Tigres FC defended by Aldo Montes, from the opening minute the auriverde team knocked on the rival’s door but the definition was, once again, imprecise and with errors in the final decision making.
Aldo Montes, Tigres FC goalkeeper, had an almost dreamlike night at the Olaya Herrera Stadium, saving all dangerous rival balls. Jhon Valencia hit the post with a header preceded by a corner kick that could have been the opening score.
Minutes later, Real Cartagena was still in the rival field, creating danger and disrupting the defense of the feline team. Yosimarc Torres had the clearest option of the initial half, finishing from mid-distance after a rebound and goalkeeper Montes shone with a sensational save and drowned out the Cartagena goal shout.
Real Cartagena went into the break with several chances to open the scoring and subduing their rival but could not beat Montes.
Once the actions began in the second half, the trend continued and Real Cartagena played in the rival field to look for the goals that could bring them closer to the leadership of Orsomarso. Coach Alberto Suárez moved the bench and sent striker Miguel Ángel Murillo to the field.
Goalkeeper Montes seemed to close a brilliant night but a blunder in the 57th minute gave the gold team the winning goal. Montes could not control a ball that seemed safe and he dropped the ball in a skirmish between his hands and the crossbar. Miguel Murillo captured the rebound and sent it to the back of the net.
Real Cartagena tried by all means, but the lack of definition was present once again in those led by Alberto Suárez.
