The fifteen winning short films that will be screened in the session are ‘The Wait’, by Manel Salgueiro; ‘Araceli’, by Andrea Gutiérrez; ‘Allegro, ma non troppo’, by Zhana Yordanova; ‘Heroinas’, by Iris Carballo; ‘Desmadres’, by María Sanz; ‘The Alchemist’, by Óscar Santamaría; ‘The best fruit of the garden’, from CEPI La Zafra; ‘Back with you’, by Iván Umpiérrez; ‘Mar y flor’, by Elena Gracia, Marta Fuenar and Natalia Martínez; ‘The Era of the Executioner’, by Daniel Santana; ‘Potato’, by Emilio González; ‘Vih-Vir’, by Estela Cedrún and Ana Rosa González; ‘Eco papa whiskey’, by Himar Soto; ‘Sai’, by Aldo and Celia González, and ‘Fría’, by David Sainz.
In the 19th edition of the SREC exhibition, a total of 103 works were screened over the course of its twelve sessions, of which 70 percent were proposals signed by directors from the Canary Islands. The 20th edition of the short film exhibition “San Rafael en Corto” whose motto is “Cinema and the Environment”, will take place from November 2 to 8 and therefore, the registration period is open until July 15 for the works that wish to participate.
