The announcement was made by the Vice President of Infrastructure of YPF, Gustavo Gallino, during a meeting of the Vaca Muerta Infrastructure Board, which was held at the Government House, and in which the governor of Neuquén, Rolando Figueroa, and other operators participated. of the sector.

The executive project of the work is being prepared. It will contemplate a 6-inch gas pipeline that will connect the Vaca Muerta productive area in the Loma Campana Non-Conventional field with the plateau of the town of Añelo.

Gallino stated “I come to ratify a commitment from our president and CEO, Horacio Marín, to carry out this work that will not only allow gas to be brought to the inhabitants of Añelo, but will also generate the conditions for the installation of companies and create new opportunities.”

“This is a bet on the future, thinking about an Argentina that needs to develop its resources to become an energy power,” he remarked.
