This afternoon, the tranquility of the Ribera de Quilmes was interrupted by a shocking accident that could have ended in tragedy.
A truck loaded with dirt overturned on 27th Street, near the intersection with Yoldi, and almost fell on a house, causing alarm among residents of the area.
The driver of the more than 7 meter long truck, whose name has not yet been revealed, was injured and was quickly taken to a nearby health center. According to the first information, his condition is stable, but very serious and he was admitted to the Quilmes Hospital.
The accident occurred around 3 p.m., when the truck, which was transporting a significant load of dirt, lost control and overturned dramatically. Fortunately, the vehicle did not directly impact the nearest house, thus avoiding a situation that could have been catastrophic. Local residents, who witnessed the incident, expressed their relief that no injuries were reported among the residents.
