First, the couple is seen sitting on the sidewalk, talking in the street. Two criminals, with hoods on their heads and an allegedly stolen bag in their hand, approached walking and turned around when they saw them. They separated and one went in front, while the other went behind the couple, stealthily took a backpack that was on the man’s back and ran, like his accomplice.

The first robbery of the couple.

The second time the couple is robbed.

The couple got up and hesitated to chase them. Then, they began to chase the thieves and when they were at the corner, a white vehicle with a radio taxi logo passed by. A man stuck his hand out of the window and snatched the woman’s purse, causing her to fall and hit the floor. Security camera images show that approximately 13 seconds passed between both robberies.

The thieves fled and left the population concerned about the permanent insecurity in the area.

According to neighbors, they would be the same thieves who They took a log, used to crush coca, from a nearby street, just 20 minutes before.

They assure that they are not the only robberies in El Paso. They demand security, greater patrolling and warn with mobilizations. Leaders indicated that there is a police post in the area, but it does not have the necessary resources and to make a complaint they must go to Quillacollo.
