In case you didn’t know, Sebastián Llapur is a talented Argentine-Mexican voice actor who has lent his voice to countless anime, animated series, and movies, such as One Piece either The Simpson. But his legendary role as Marcus Phoenix in the Latin dubbing of the Gears of War saga crowned him as one of the actors most loved by gamers. Streamer and YouTuber ElGamer WICHO! had the ingenious idea of inviting Llapur to his channel to react live to the announcement trailer for E-Day, the new video game in the saga that will take place during Emergency Day and that was announced during the Xbox Games Showcase from last week.
Immediately, the enthusiasm that Sebastián Llapur feels for these video games is more than evident, as he reacts with great emotion to the trailer, and even soon gave his voice to Marcus Phoenix in several parts. In conclusion, he stated that Gears of War: E-Day looks very good and that he is very satisfied with the trailer: “A lot of emotion, it’s very good. For me it’s all good, seeing it… That music, that definition! Technologically, it’s very badass, but hey, for those of us who have so much history with Gears, obviously what moves us is that feeling of so many years, and feeling that it’s refreshed is incredible.”Llapur answered when the YouTuber asked him how he felt.
Like many other fans of the franchise, Sebastián Llapur admitted that he would have liked to see how the story continued in a hypothetical Gears 6, but he is very happy with the idea of returning to the origins of this story.
