The maroons visit Trasandino in Los Andes this afternoon, in a unique duel that will define which of the two teams continues in the race within the tournament.
At some point, as a result of the bad weather front that affected a large part of the country, it was thought that the match between Trasandino de Los Andes and Deportes La Serena could be suspended.
But it was not like that. About 100 millimeters fell on that city of Aconcagua and the field of the Regional de Los Andes stadium responded excellently to receive the match that the local team and the garnets will host at 12:30 p.m.
The papaya team moved yesterday to the Valparaíso region to spend the night in Los Andes and wait for the match, which will be unique and will define which of the two teams continues to advance in the Chile Cup.
If the team equalizes in regulation time, it will be determined through penalty kicks which team will qualify for the next phase.

For this first challenge of the Chile Cup, coach Erwin Durán summoned a large part of the young contingent he has on the squad, along with players who have not managed to gain minutes in the Primera B tournament, where the papayeros are leaders.
Carlos Vásquez, Daniel Cordero, José Tapia, Rodrigo Dubó, would be part of the players who will face the match today in Los Andes, facing a Trasandino team that is suffering in the Second Professional Division, since it is bottom of the tournament.

And although the games must first be played and won, the fans of Coquimbo Unidos and Deportes La Serena project a possible classic, since if the two teams advance, they will meet in the quarterfinals of the Copa Chile.
To do this, the pirates must beat Brujas de Salamanca next Thursday, June 20 at 4 p.m., in the Municipal Stadium N°1 of that city and La Serena must do the same today against Trasandino.
If the classic happens, it should be scheduled promptly, there is even talk of the weekend of June 23, where the garnets would play home at the La Portada stadium against the pirates.
The authorities must analyze whether it is played with a visiting public, due to the security measures taken in these matches.
