The person in charge of the Office of the Municipal Presidency of Escobedo, José Antonio Quiroga Chapa, met this Monday with representatives of INFONATIV to coordinate the support that will be provided to families affected by the explosion of a home in Colonia San Marcos.
Quiroga Chapa and representatives of the federal agency went at 12:30 p.m. this Monday to the affected area where they agreed on support for the affected families and the need to expedite the recovery procedures for the damaged homes through insurance.
Quiroga pointed out that INFONAVIT, through insurance, will support families who have current credit.
“We appreciate the support and willingness of INFONATIV, who already gave us instructions on what will be done to speed up the recovery process through insurance,” he mentioned.
Quiroga added that, given the rain forecasts in the entity, Municipal Government personnel are working on minor repairs to some affected homes. “What is urgent and (with) minor damage we are already working on,” he said.
