The news was confirmed by the same Humberto Velez, voice of Homer Simpson in the animated series, when using his social networks to say goodbye to his coworker of recent years; However, the true causes of the actress’ death are unknown.

“Many hours together, working, traveling. A lifetime. Your departure hurts me a lot, but I celebrate your way of enjoying, of being free, of living life to the fullest. Thanks for the laughter, the debates, the confidences. You were, are and will be a fundamental part of the most important work project of my work,” she wrote on Instagram.

In the wake of her death, some entertainment celebrities have written thoughts of condolence to remember Mackenzie. The first to raise her voice was Paty Acevedo, voice of Lisa Simpson, who shared a series of photographs of the artist.

“It is with deep sorrow that we, the Simpson daughters, announce the passing of our beloved mother Marge Simpson (Nancy Mackenzie). Rest in peace, we will never forget you,” she indicated.

Consequently, voice actor Lalo Garza joined the dedications and recalled the main characteristics that were part of Nancy Mackenzie, whom he described as a “happy, strong and talented woman” in the world of entertainment.

Nancy MacKenzie Seput, originally from Lima, Peru, began her acting career at 19, debuting in local soap operas and plays. At the age of 22 she arrived in Mexico City, where she showed her talent in radio soap operas, theater, photonovelas and television commercials.

Despite having success as a radio host, her debut came as a voice actress when she gave voice to Marge Simpson in the animated series The Simpson for 15 seasons; However, she was replaced by actress Marina Huerta, who was also the voice of Bart Simpson.

Among the characters to which Nancy MacKenzie lent her voice, Sailor Galaxia stands out for sailor Moon; Daphne in Scooby Doo and The thirteen ghosts of Scooby Two; Miss Keane The Powerpuff Girls; Clarbella, Cruella de Vil from 1997 to 2003, and Winifred Sanderson from the film Abra Cadabra.
