Danna Paola He is experiencing a new stage in his artistic facet, in which he has decided to carry only the first part of the name that he has used throughout his career. But beyond this aspect, the Mexican singer has given a much more personal turn to her music, which her fans have been able to see in her most recent album. Childstar. Recently, the interpreter spoke about the process she went through to get to the point where she is, and she surprised by making a harsh confession of the moment in which she hit rock bottom.
Danna attended the Spanish program as a guest The resistance (Movistar Plus+) and revealed that his experiences with mental health played a very important role in the creation of Childstar. “The album does not have collaborations because it is a very personal story,” he told the host. David Broncanoand explained that he worked on this project for almost four years, “since I finished Elite (Netflix) until April of this year.”
“I have been through many things on a personal and artistic level, good and bad, but more of the latter”, the actress also admitted. “I think I hit rock bottom in many moments and situations in my life because, in the end, I am a childstar“she said, referring to the fact that she debuted on Mexican television when she was just four years old, and has remained active since then.
“A normal child plays, goes to school and makes friends. I had a different experience in which, in this therapy process, I grew up with this rejection of this fame and this way of being a star girl because I felt like a weirdo., the different one and they bullied me a little,” shared Danna, who will turn 29 on June 23. “The few times I went to school, because I was kicked out of a lot of schools, I felt a little rejected in certain things. But in the end I did what I liked: I played acting, singing,” she continued.
Your fear of a fatal destiny
During the talk, Danna admitted that just a couple of years ago she was afraid of being part of the so-called ’27 Club’, that group of stars who died at an early age and at the height of their careers. “No one prepared me for fame and at some point in my life, which happened to me when I was 27 years old, I was afraid to join the ’27 Club’. It’s very hard, because it’s like you start this process around 30 in which you rethink your life and you don’t know what decision to make or where to go,” he acknowledged.
However, as time went by, the singer and actress obtained valuable lessons that helped her move forward. “I think it’s important to surround yourself with good people and people who, in the end, don’t want to get more out of you.“But to help you in this process and take you forward,” added the artist, who for a few years has maintained a solid love relationship with the singer.
