The Government – in collaboration with the Río Grande Electric Cooperative – held a day for registration in the Registry of Access to Energy Subsidies (RASE), for residents interested in maintaining subsidies for electric energy and network gas. The procedure can be carried out until July 31 of this year, it is open to the public and is easily completed using the form available on the page argentina.gob.ar/subsidios
José Luis Santana, provincial coordinator of the Secretariat of Political Representation, commented that “it was a very successful day with numerous inquiries from the residents of our city whom we were able to register in the RASE. These registration sessions will continue to be held in the coming weeks, also in Tolhuin and Ushuaia.”
“We know that many families are going through economic difficulties, so it is important that they can change categories to maintain the subsidy,” Santana added.
For inquiries, interested parties can go to the office of the Secretariat of Political Representation of the Provincial Government at 1345 Monseñor Fagnano Street, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., or visit the commercial office of the Electric Cooperative at 691 Mackinlay, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. hours.
The Registry of Access to Energy Subsidies (RASE), dependent on the Ministry of Energy of the Nation as the Application Authority, is a list of beneficiaries classified as Level 2 (Low Income) or Level 3 (Medium Income) according to the sworn statements submitted when requesting the benefit.
People already registered in RASE do not need to re-register. However, those whose economic situation has changed may update their category if their income has been affected.
For energy segmentation, three groups were established:
High income segment: N1
Total monthly household income equivalent to or greater than $2,898,553.67 (3.5 basic baskets for a type 2 household according to INDEC).
-Exceptions: Tierra del Fuego $3,536,235.47.
Middle income segment: N3
Total monthly income between $828,158.19 and $2,898,553.67 (between 1 and 3.5 basic basket for a type 2 household according to INDEC).
-Exception: for households with one partner with a Single Certificate of Disability (CUD), the total monthly income between $1,242,237.29 and $2,898,553.67 (between 1.5 and 3.5 basic baskets for a typical household 2 according to INDEC).
Lower income segment: N2
Net income less than $828,158.19 (1 total basic basket for a type 2 household according to INDEC).
-Exception: for households with one or one cohabitant with a Single Certificate of Disability (CUD), the total monthly income to be part of this segment must be less than $1,242,237.29 (1.5 basic baskets for a type 2 household according to INDEC).
