Marvel Studios is preparing a new Fantastic Four movie in what will be the debut of these characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, it will not be their first adventure in the cinema, since they already debuted on the big screen almost 20 years ago. In 2005, director Tim Story released The Fantastic Foura film that later had the sequel Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer.

In the distribution of the franchise we find Jessica Albawho played Sue Storm / Invisible Woman in both films. In a recent interview for ComicBook.com on the occasion of the premiere of Triggers on Netflix, the actress expressed how she still connects with the character 19 years later.

They are nothing but good memories. I really loved playing that character. I feel like my whole life began in many ways at that moment. I met my life partner, we are still together, we have three children. Tim Story, who directed, is still one of my best friends. We spent New Year’s Eve together. He was great and he was a great character, inspiring and ahead of his time, I would say, in the genre. And yet, you have yet to see anyone who is so loving and feminine, but also tough and scary. I haven’t seen that combination again and that’s why I think it still fills this beautiful kind of space or void in the Marvel Universe.
