According to what is indicated by Social Prosperity, the correct way to check if a home is part of this program is:

  • Enter the official page of Social Prosperity or click on the following link: https://prosperidadsocial.gov.co/
  • At the top, locate the button ‘Programs’ > ‘VAT refund’.
  • Once the page loads, click on the option ‘Check here if your household is a beneficiary.’
  • Enter the Type and number of document, as well as the date of birth of the person who heads the household.
  • Then, perform the ‘reCAPTCHA’ and click on ‘Consult’.

Who can be beneficiaries of the payment in 2024?

Through Resolution 00552 of April 5, 2024, the Administrative Department for Social Prosperity announces the list of people who have the possibility of belonging to the ‘VAT Refund’ program o ‘VAT Compensation’ for the current year. In that sense, these are:

  • Households in extreme poverty according to their classification in the Sisbén IV survey: A01, A02, A03, A04, A05 and indigenous households.
  • Households in moderate poverty according to their classification in the Sisbén IV survey: B01, B02, B03, and B04.
