A retiree died due to a gas leak in her house in Godoy Cruz

A Retired 72 years old died this Saturday afternoon carbon monoxide poisoning in his house Godoy Cruz. Apparently, The woman left a burner on, which went off and generated the gas leak that triggered the fatality.

The authorities became aware of the incident around 1 p.m., through a call to 911 emergency line who alerted about a woman found dead in her home in Pedro Zanni street at 2400.

Police were dispatched to the house and They found that the septuagenarian had no vital signs and that she lived alone..

In addition, they established that the woman had left a kettle with water on a stove onin the kitchen oven. Apparently, the flame went out and the gas flooded the house, causing the death of the pensioner, police sources said.

Personnel from Civil defense and Ecogasto carry out the pertinent tasks against the loss of gas.
